"A Bulgarian film by Maya Vitkova tells a story about a girl with family problems and a rat in her room. Besides having the cutest kid ever, this short grabs hold of your interest and doesn’t let go. I was emotionally connected to the outcome of this story and especially to the little girl. There were a few technical additions that gave the film some extra intensity, one of which was the choice to allow the rat to scream like a human which heightened your emotions and added that extra bit of human connection to the rat."
